Ready to Come About - Presentation & Book Signing - Port Hope

The Port Hope Public Library, in partnership with Furby House Books, invite you to an entertaining morning as Sue Williams, and her husband David, talk about their improbable and often perilous year on the high seas, what led to it, and what they took away from it. There will be an audio/visual presentation, readings from Sue's compelling new memoir, Ready to Come About, and a Q&A. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Alberta Lit Fest: Joanne Vannicola at Acting & Writing

Two perspectives on the actor's life: Joanne Vannicola is an Emmy Award–winning actor who has worked in theatre, film, and television, and published her first memoir this year, All We Knew But Couldn't Say. Richard Kemick is an armchair-atheist who joined the 100+ cast of The Badlands Passion Play, North America's largest production of its kind, and then wrote his memoir, I Am Herod, about the experience. Hosted by Sheri Somerville.
