The Age of Fentanyl shortlisted for Speaker's Book Award!
Dundurn Press is thrilled to congratulate addiction physician and author Dr. Brodie Ramin, who has been shortlisted for the Speaker’s Book Award!
Dr. Ramin’s The Age of Fentanyl: Ending the Opioid Epidemic discusses the history of the disease that is opioid addiction and the potential cure, all from his perspective as an addiction doctor working on the front lines of the epidemic. Steven Pinker, Johnstone Professor of Psychology at Harvard University and author of Enlightenment Now called The Age of Fentanyl, “a fascinating, wise, and humane analysis of one of the most pressing health challenges of the 21st century.”
Dr. Brodie Ramin is an Ottawa based primary care and addictions physician. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa and a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Congratulations to Dr. Ramin!
